Russ
Lead Vocals/Cajon/DJ
Having trained at the London School of Musical Theatre, Russ has gigged in various setups at many of the UK’s top venues, including arenas, stately homes, theatres, casinos, hotels, and even in the ruins of a castle.
He has extensive experience of performing at weddings and loves creating an atmosphere, whether singing, playing or DJ’ing that lives long in the memory of those whose special day it is, as well as all their family and friends.
Russ has also performed at numerous parties and awards ceremonies for a wide variety of organisations ranging from pharmaceutical companies to car manufacturers.
Lex
Guitar/Backing Vocals
Since first picking up a guitar at the age of 9 years old, Lex has become a master of the instrument. Passionate about playing live, he has gigged with top-flight bands and acts covering a wide variety of musical styles, over the years.
He has played at many of the nation’s top venues and events, including University events (e.g. Oxford and Leicester University Summer Balls), weddings, corporate parties, and a range of functions at other exclusive settings.
Lex is an experienced musician who is tenacious in the creation of the ideal sound, even commissioning a guitar to be hand-crafted to create a sound unique to The Luthers. With his attention to detail, care and passion for music, Lex prides himself on creating the perfect atmosphere to make any event special and memorable.
