Out of everything on our big day the most compliments we received were about Russ and Lex. We love live music and wanted it to be a large part of our wedding day. Russ and Lex played whilst guests arrived from the ceremony to our reception. It was important to us that the sound wasn’t overbearing as we have found at some weddings music can make it difficult to have conversations. However, the acoustic set they provided was perfect background music and they also asked us for songs we would like included which I felt was a nice touch.

 

They then went above and beyond to learn our first dance song, which my wife wasn’t expecting to be live and she loved the surprise (thanks both).

 

In the evening they set up speakers and kept the dancefloor busy all night. It was strange how two people can sound like a full band. Again, they asked for our input for song choices and included mash ups which were unique and made it a great atmosphere.

I was recommended The Luthers by a friend who saw them perform at a wedding, and I’m so glad he passed me their details! I booked them to perform at the leaving party of our company’s CEO, who had been at the helm for 32 years, so it was a big do! In attendance were colleagues old and current, friends, family, clients and partners – an eclectic mix of people across age ranges and backgrounds, and so we needed the entertainment be as varied as the crowd.

They turned up in plenty of time, set themselves up and played a range of music, old and new, which everyone enjoyed. They kept everyone dancing all night long.
